Dr. Qadri is an Orlando native. His family has called Orlando home since 1984. Dr. Qadri wanted to pursue medicine since he was a child. To obtain early clinical training, he went to medical school at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal in India. When he returned back home, he pursued residency in Internal Medicine at Hackensack UMC Mountainside in Montclair, NJ. During his final year of residency, Dr. Qadri was chosen as Chief Resident by his program director and faculty. He considered himself fortunate to help navigate his program during a time of monumental change. This experience has been invaluable to his professional and personal growth as a physician-leader. Dr. Qadri then pursued his fellowship training in Nephrology at the University of Florida, College of Medicine. During his final year of fellowship, he again had the honor of serving as Chief Fellow.
Dr. Qadri is board certified in both Nephrology and Internal Medicine. Throughout his training, Dr. Qadri was recognized for both scholarly activity and professionalism. He was awarded the Professionalism and Humanism in Medicine award during residency. In fellowship, he was asked to serve on numerous committees to improve teaching and the fellowship program. He has extensively been published both in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. He continues to maintain an academic interest in research, teaching and professional development. Dr. Qadri speaks several languages including English, Urdu and Hindi.
Dr. Qadri and his wife, have 4 young children. Dr. Qadri is passionate about his work in clinical medicine and works tirelessly to bring his family-centered approach to his practice. Dr. Qadri's vision in putting patient's first and working with a team that understands this concept has been paramount to his practice's growth. During his personal time, Dr. Qadri enjoys outdoor activities, water sports, healthy cooking/lifestyle and community outreach programs in population health in his community. He particularly emphasizes lifestyle in the management of health and disease. Dr. Qadri lost nearly 170 lbs through diet and exercise and continues to emphasize the importance of a healthy balance in his practice.
Dr. Reyes went to medical school at Ross University and pursued additional medical training and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. After completion in Internal Medicine, Dr. Reyes was an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Morsani College of Medicine at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. After several years in both hospital and outpatient primary care, Dr. Reyes pursued a fellowship in Nephrology at the University of South Florida. He then relocated to Stuart, FL where he was an attending Nephrologist at the Cleveland Clinic Martin Health, Affiliated Hospitals. Dr. Reyes joined Kidney Care Associates in September 2022 and is excited to be a part of our growing community academic practice.
Dr. Reyes is board certified in Nephrology. Throughout his training and as a teaching attending, Dr. Reyes was recognized for both scholarly activity and professionalism. He has been published both in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. He is a strong community outreach physician and has had notable community service-related activities.
Dr. Reyes and his wife relocated to Orlando, FL to be close to family. Dr. Reyes is passionate about his work in clinical medicine and does emphasize lifestyle in the management of health and disease. He is a welcome addition to the Kidney Care Associates team and is ready to serve both English and Spanish-speaking patients.
